庭の水栓をいじる用に購入しました。プライヤーは昔ながらの全金属製のものも持っているのですが、バネが無い為開度調整がやりにくく、使わなくなってしまいました。こちらの製品であればストレスなく使えそうです。先の掴む部分のプラスチックは消耗品だそうで、交換用の予備が1セット付いてきます。すり減ったり割れたりしたら交換しようと思います。

ウォーターレンチの口部分の交換部品です。水栓ユニットのナット部分をレンチで傷をつけないように樹脂部品がねじで取り付けられるようになっています。ウォーターレンチの嚙みこむ口部分は締める時も緩める時も強い力がかかるのでどうしても消耗してしまうのですが、この工具は樹脂部品を交換できるように別売しています。これで樹脂パーツは2度目の購入ですが消耗部分が交換部品として供給されている工具のメーカーはまさしく信頼できるメーカーと言えます。

手持ちの250mmのソフトタッチプライヤーの樹脂がボロボロになってどうしようか考えていたところ、こちらの商品にたどり着きました。交換もスムーズに進み、家の修繕に活躍してくれています。わざわざ新たにプライヤーを買わずとも、パーツの交換のみで済むのがありがたいです。

I bought these to install plated plumbing fixtures without marring them. Indeed, this is the design purpose for this tool. No MacGyver award for me. They come with a spare pair of jaw pads. I do so little finish plumbing the replacement pads will probably be long lost by the time I need them.

These pliers are a good solution if you don't want to mar the surface you are gripping. They are good quality, but definitely not "heavy duty", which makes sense because you will use them for objects and surfaces that can't take a lot of force. I DO wish the grip was a little better. If the jaw surface had teeth, for example, I think it would grip better. Bit I'm glad I bought them.

muy buen producto, la calidad es buenisima, su caracteristica de protectores plasticos es lo mejor, ademas que trae repuestos por si se llegan a dañar, trae resorte para que se abra, solas y poder usarlas con una sola mano. No me sorprende la calidad pues soy fan de esta marca y nunca me quedan mal. La uso para piezas metalicas con pintura para no lastimar al poner presion.

These slip joint pliers are high quality with the added benefit of not damaging the work they are tightening. I highly recommend them. It's a lifetime tool.

If you have another use for it (Note: light duty only!) the ratcheting channel lock mechanism work very well. Would like to see that on more similar type, but better quality tools
