I have also have the 87 05 250 and 87 05 300 . I bought this 87 02 150 tool because it is not available in the bright finish. It turns out that I like the dark finish better. I love the comfort grip that Knipex offers.

Very well made and I like the thick handle version. You mush push the button on the side of the jaws in to move the jaw position either direction. The steel seems to be very high quality and seems to be heat treated well. They're a very slim design which is very helpful most of the time. The jaws are ¼" (6mm) wide and the handles are ¾" (19mm) wide at the widest part with the button area being ½" (13mm)wide and the full length of the tool is 7.5" (190mm). I use these almost as much as my pliers wrench of the same size. I find this size to be most useful for this type of tool in a professional environment. Maybe a plumber would need larger sizes. Based on the rate of wear I can see from the few years I've owned it, I expect it to last me the rest of my life even though I use it at least 3 times a week at work. I hope this is helpful.

Well worth the price.I just wish that someone made a small leather belt carrier that fit these well. I'm going to make my own, but would prefer to simply purchase one which is made to fit.

THIS KNIPEX INSULATED COBRA IS THE ONLY PLIER I USE. I AM A TECH IN THE COMMERCIALFIELD AND HAVE TRIED MANY WATER PUMP PLIERS AND NONE COMPARE TO THIS ONE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
