We’re decorating the house with oil rubbed bronze and these brackets have just the right look.I selected these to ensure sufficient distance between the wall and the handrail. Good design allowing vertical brackets attached to an angled rail.Comes with screws that are of sufficient length.

The brackets look great. The screws to install them are terrible. Two broke off in wall. I went to hardware store and bought some strong ones, and had no trouble screwing the new screws into wall.

The top of my basement’s handrail does not have a bracket. As a result, over the years, the handrail separated from the wall on that spot, creating a safety issue. I’ve wanted to fix it for the longest time, but didn’t know how. I saw this product on Amazon and decided to give it a try. Lo and behold – I did it in less than half an hour!This bracket comes in two solid metal pieces and 5 nails – 3 long ones (to attach to the wall) and 2 short ones (to attach to underneath the wooden rail). It was very easy! The only tool you'll need is power drill. I now have a very secure handraill. What a GREAT product!

I just installed 11 of these Hands rail supports (2 Stairways) and I am very satisfied with the appearance and sturdiness of this product which I used to replace bright brass ones. My only complaint is that the screw heads strip easily suggesting lower quality metal. Pilot holes are a must which I intended to have anyway. The upper holes on the product matched the original brackets I had but the length was different requiring a new pilot hole. If you are careful, you can use most of the screws without stripping the heads I needed to replace one and one of the packages I’d not include the 2 smaller screws than go into the wood rail. Overall very satisfied.
