A great playing guitar that looks mean and priced right. You really can't find a guitar this cool at this price. Pair it up with a nice amp and start shredding. It drops to D standard without sloppy fret interference. String locks are a plus here too. The pickups are absolutely perfect. I'm very happy with it.

Showed up in new condition, took it in for a setup which I always do with a brand new guitar (always worth the money if you buy online!) and I love it. The most comfortable body shape for me personally in every situation. Pickups are very high output and have some real bite to them. Only thing I changed was putting 11 gauge strings on for Drop D. The FR Special is just fine, baseplate is hardened steel and that's what matters. Holds tune like a cactus holds water, love it. Great for the money, but if you buy online brand new you will likely need a setup but that goes for ALL new guitars straight from factory. I was really pleased!

This guitar feels amazing to play, I love looking at it too. If you don't play guitar I'd say thisll still make a nice $400 wall ornament. Looks badass, I highly recommend if your not serious about the quality of the tremolo system and care more about the functionality. It does work great, this guitar also came set up perfectly, I'm impressed. I bought it to see if I would like the double locking them before spending alot of money. I'm glad I did, this guitar is a great stepping stone.

I wouldn't necessarily say that its a 'beginner' guitar, mostly because the bridge and saddle. It took me a few hours to get the guitar in tune and properly intonated while also having the saddle level and the string action height set correctly.If you know how to do all that, or are willing to learn how, then sure; It's a beginner guitar. But at the end of the day, buy a guitar you love to stare at, because then you're more likely to want to play it.It's worth the money.
