  • Authentic, French-made Laguiole knives are stamped with the brand name/country of origin & come with a certificate of authenticity. Counterfeits are made outside of France, not stamped with its country of origin, & often made of low-end steel.

  • Micro-serrated knives do not require sharpening and will retain a sharp cutting edge for the lifetime of the knife.

  • Most Jean Dubost products are dishwasher safe, however hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the product. Pieces with wood handles or brass accents are not dishwasher safe.

Not only is this a terrible set, it could not cut its way out of a paper bag, let alone cut a turkey. Big mistake and would advise against purchasing one.

I bought these to carve our Christmas standing rib roast. They came packaged just as pictured with no box lid. The edge of the knife is acceptably sharp, as are the tines of the fork. They are suitable for occasional use and are very nice looking. I like the little French bee.
