  • A: This is a full manual focus lens, no electric contacts, your camera will not detect the lens when mounted, pls switch camera to M mode to work.

  • Normally switch your camera to M mode will solve this issue, for some cameras, you need to setting "Release Shutter W/O Lens " to Enable on camera menu to make lens work.

  • Pls lock the"Lock-Open" ring, then rotate the focus ring on the front body of the lens until the subject is in focus , and focus with live-view to achieve accurate focus. Recommend use with a tripod and remote to keep image stable

  • As this is a manual lens without electronic contact, it can‘t be automatically connected, so the aperture value is not displayed. The aperture value F8.3-16 can't be set by the camera and will automatically change with the lens focal of 420-800mm.

  • Pls Adjust the shutter Speed to get good picture quality. if the picture is too dark, set a slower shutter speed, such as 1/250S, 1/200S, 1/150S... until normal;

Utile pour prendre le ciel étoilé en photo mais pour le reste pas très bon

Was not sure what the quality of this would be at the price it was. I am pleasantly surprised how nice of a lens this is. Definitely worth the value for the money. The fit is perfect.

This is a low cost lens and it has similar quality to cost. You NEED a tripod to use this lens if you want sharp results. If you wanted an 800mm lens like this from Canon, it would cost around $12,000. It's not perfect, but it absolutely is worth the money paid if you know how to use it. Again, USE A TRIPOD.

This lens reaches out pretty far. But the longer reach..the more visible the motion blur. M only. Landscapes are ok with lots of light with this. Lower light will not result in quality sharp photos. That said, if you print medium wall size you won't be pixel peeping anyway. All about personal preference.I am editing this review. The issue with shake isn't the lens it's the stability. I have a good tripod, but when you attach the t-ring to it, all there is, is a screw basically to hold it still. I suggested to the company that an updated horizontal slide type mount would do wonders. After putting it on a tripod, focusing, and then holding down firmly on the camera strap so it wouldn't jiggle I got the Moon Photo I wanted! Woohoo!

Very poor stabilization and very poor image quality. Decided I will save up and pay more for a better quality lens in the future.

The entire lens was falling apart. The adhesives to hold it together are more inferior than I've seen on machinery in a very long time. The plastic is thin and brittle. The glass in the lens was loose. The knob to adjust the mount ring was shattered into pieces and spilled out of the package. Trying to zoom the lens makes it start to come apart. Some of the adhesive had leaked down into the lens and was visible upon zooming out / extending the lens. I'm not even giving this brand a second chance. With such a horrible quality in every aspect, I'm returning and will never look back. I bought a replacement that is a different brand for about the same price and it seems to work. It also had no visible defects, where every component of this one had defects.

I was slightly disappointed, looked a little different and the zoom function isn’t that smooth.The picture quality is not bad though. But definitely get a good tripod if you want your pictures to turn out good, I used a cheap $20 tripod and it was very wobbly and the pictures were blurry. But I think it’s worth it for the price.
