It was fine, fast shipping, very good item. However, I thought it would be one tube, as it only shows one, but it came with two. No complaints, as I like them anyway, they are not expensive, and it doesn't hurt to have an extra. I'm probably to blame and didn't think. But, the proper picture could have made things clearer.

I replaced my stock tubes in my VOX AC15C2. I had a bad power tube. I checked it using the chop stick test. So I replaced all of the tubes at the same time, power and pre-amp, with JJ tubes. The sound is fantastic! Never better!

Because preamp tubes last almost twice as long as power tubes I'm glad they sell these as a matched set of power tubes only. The info on how closely the tubes are matched and the Apex matching sticker is clearly marked on the packaging. The tubes themselves are perfect for the sound I was looking for out of my AC15. I was looking for a bright, chimey sound that has some bite and responds to the dynamics of my playing style. Well, these tubes do it. They break up at the right moment and stay clean all the way up to that point. Installation is a breeze and they came in packaging that ensured they were well protected and not jostled around in transit. It's weird that these tubes actually sound better than tubes I bought from an independent seller on Reverb in years past.I'm really happy with the sound and price of these tubes.

I replaced the Groove Tubes in my Fender Blues Junior with these JJ tubes. The Groove Tubes were starting to crackle and pop after about a year of use. These tubes eliminated the popping and crackling and the sound quality is so much better now with these new tubes. Can't comment on longevity of the JJ's yet but I am happy with that the clean sound has returned to my amp.

Excellent tube, got a pair for my MESA/boogie MarkV 25. Came with good condition, no any damage from shipping. Works well with boogie. Sound is clean and warm. No noise or humm. Contact MESA/boogie customer service, confirmed tubes are matched and no short should be OK. It's good deal compared with GT or MESA tested tubes. At less I don't hear difference with my stock tubes.

I started getting some volume drop from the Monoprice 15W amp that’s a killer deal when on sale. I’ve had it for about 18 months of intermittent use, but it was time to replace the cheap Chinese power tubes that came with it. I also replaced the 12AX7 in the V1 position with a Tung Sol at the same time and WOW, really worth the effort and money well spent! This little tube amp never sounded so good and I would swear it’s as good as just about any top guitar amp at twice the price- in about the $400 range. You would really have to spend $600 or more to get anything that sounded noticibly better the Monoprice 15W with these power tubes and the Tung Sol in V1.

A power tube died in my blues jr and subsequently also made my amp blow a fuse. Once I figured this out, i had to buy some new tubes, and sweet jesus jj delivers! My blues jr is by far my favorite amp, and it's back from the dead. That said I don't know the tenure of these tubes so I'm hoping they last while, I got about 9 months on the groove tubes so hopefully these will outlast those. They sound more or less like the groove tubes, but I feel like they have slightly more bottom end and gain. I used to have to turn on the "fat" boost to get a good amount of gain from the amp but now with the volume set at 12 I'm pretty happy with it's gain level. The amp is the primary factor in tone, but these tubes get the job done and give the amp the necessarily means to do its job.At any rate, I'd recommend these. They brought my amp back to life, which thoroughly pleased me, not to mention they sound great and I'm in hog heaven now that my amps back to working order.

I modify Fender Blues Jr. amps all for friends and professional musicians. I like these a little better than the Groove Tubes that come as standard from the factory. Nice power, clean but with that nice round tube sound. They seem to really last. I install a bias adjustment in my amps so I run the output tubes 8w standby then they kick in and deliver the full 15 watts when driven. They work real well in this A/B amp configuration.Note: When I say I like them better than the Groove Tubes, not enough where I would replace the Groove Tubes before their time. This tube will not so much upgrade the sound of your amp. If you are looking for an upgrade, have your amp modified professionally or change your speaker.
