I grew up fishing Rooster Tails in trout streams of MN. We were headed to the trout streams around Gatlinburg, TN and needed lures having only a single hook. This fit the bill perfectly with the stinger hooks being easy to remove. Bonus was that these spinners were well weighted and the blade spins effortlessly in the water. I’ll definitely be buying more in the near future.

In one hour I caught 1 crappie, 2 large mouth bass, 2 rainbow trout and one trophy sized trout weighing close to 5 pounds. All on one Joe's fly!

These lures catch EVERYTHING! if you are trying for just one type of fish, this isn't your lure. We even tried it on the bay (saltwater) and caught some Blues!! great lure. Only a 4 star because after a while, you may lose the bottom treble hook. They have a tendency to come off.
