They really are jumbo size, but would be better if they were a little smaller

There are two eggs in the package. I was going to use both of them for our Easter egg hunt last weekend. One out of two could not be closed. The shape of the upper and lower shell was completely off. Very expensive and very bad quality!

I bought these to make surprise eggs for my daughter. They are very sturdy but can be difficult to close. You have to struggle with them a bit to close them and probably not the best eggs to make surprise eggs but they did what I wanted them to do overall.

I read other reviewers comments about one egg not closing. It's not a problem. The eggs come with 2 long bunny rabbit stickers lightly attached to each pair of "eggshells". I used these to ensure that the eggs didn't open. My excited 3 year old was able to rip them off the sides to get at the stuff inside. They are a little small tho...I'm keeping them to use again next year Easter

These are just as described and perfect! Each year I put something special for each of my grandchildren in a big egg and place in their Easter Basket. I have always had trouble finding eggs that are big enough. Usually the max I find is 6 inches. The size of this one is the best I have found, especially at such a great price. This year I put a maxi dress in each egg for my granddaughters and a truck for my grandsons. The maxis fit perfectly with room to spare - in fact it looked to me as if I could still put a maxi in when they were size 10 or 12!

The size is perfect, however, the description states pastels (pink, blue, green, purple) and one of the questions asked if the top was clear and was answered yes. I received a purple and orange set and they did not have clear tops. Orange is not a pastel nor mentioned in the description.
