I've worn Xtra-Tuffs for 25 years in the Rain Capital of Alaska. 13 feet of rain (on average) a year. I've loved my Xtra-Tuffs, but as soon as I tried these KalKal Boots - I changed my mind! They are very comfortable and fit was perfect sizing. They feel like sneakers. They slip on with little to no effort. I don't know about wear & tear yet, imagine they will not last as long as Xtra-Tuffs, but ther are trade-offs to be had.

Bought these to commercial lobster in and they lasted the whole season with no issues. Feel like sneakers, needed no breaking in, and lasted longer than pricer brands. So impressed with these boots and the price.

I bought these for a trip to London. I heard it rains a lot. While I have yet to take the trip, I have tried them a few times to keep my feet dry from the wet grass in our large yard as I’m walking to the shed for bong hits. They work great! Feet keep dry and comfy. ALSO they do have nice soles and arch support. They are a bit stiff though, so hopefully longer walks won’t become uncomfortable. But so far so good. Oh the straps work great too. It makes it easier for someone with a sore back like myself not to have to bend down so far or for long. And they are kind of snazzy too. If I do say so myself. Which I do.

The shoes look and feel better than huk and way better than extratuff but unfortunately they have started falling apart after 3 months, the tops are not cracking but the rubber on the bottoms are coming off

I will give this my highest review. These boots are durable, comfortable, and well priced. I couldn’t be more satisfied. I wear them frequently and for long periods of time. I wear socks, but they’re not necessary. I am a fisherman and I use them while fishing and while doing odd jobs around the house. I wish I had another pair.

Husband says boots are extremely comfortable, lightweight and keep his feet dry. Would definitely recommend.
