Original was all cracked up and I had little hopes this would look good. Anything would’ve been better than the cracks though. But to my surprise, this turned out amazing!! Such a perfect fit

Great product. Easy and inexpensive upgrade for your truck. Used a single edge razor blade to cut the old cover from beneath the plastic cup holder/ storage box. It doesn’t come out without breaking the mounting tabs. Used the included trim tool to work the excess material down between the foam and plastic. Take the time to align the seams before starting to tuck it in and you’ll end up with a nice repair. Definitely recommend.

The nylon zipper on this item is far too inadequate. The pressure required to squeeze the foam on the jump seat to close zipper is huge. I first tried a large C clamp with blocks then I kneeled on it. The zipper moved half an inch then it released the other side. Great for a light weight jacket but not for a vehicle it’s going back. It could have used a bit more material.

Removing console was fairly easy, one person job. Putting product on console took about 40 minutes. Putting console in my scenario back on is a 2 person job. The new cover looks great.

This fits properly. It does not come padded as the oem one has a foam backing. It does not come with adhesive. Which is a must if you dont have 1/8" upholstery staples and gun. It is not the same shiny black that's oem. It's more of a satin black no light reflection. But it will do the Job.

This cover fit perfectly! The jump seats looks factory new. The hardest part was getting the old material out cleanly. It took me about an hour total to remove the seat, discard the old material, install the new cover and reinstall the seat. I had basically no idea on how to do any of this so it probably took a little longer that it should have. The provided install tool really did the job once I got the hang of it. The fit is nice and tight and I am very impressed with the final results. Looks absolutely like new! Saved $150 over the upholstery estimates. Great quality, great value!!!!

Install states to use glue. When I removed original cover, I noted that it was stapled on. So I stalled using a staple gun with 1/4 inch staples. Wow, that made it much more simple to install. It is a good quality material and matches color to the original. I have had it on my truck for 8 months without issue. There was a sligh wrinkle to it that disappeared after the first time my vehicle heated up in the sun one day. Great value....it was cheaper than buying a whole new console top.

I first ordered a complete lid. It was “gray”, but was very different than the original “Light Titanium Gray”. It seems that this was the only option, regardless of what it was branded or who it was sold by. I ordered this cover only to re-cover my original and it was a MUCH closer match. When placed side-by-side, I also realized the aftermarket lid was taller and shaped a little differently. So that’s two considerable points against it. The color of the new cover material is slightly lighter, but maybe the original is darker from age or environmental exposure. Maybe a little dirty. Still close enough to satisfy my OCD.I chose to put the new cover over the original to have a little extra padding and to fill it out a little since stretching vinyl over a surface smooths it out more than trying to heat and shrink out the wrinkles. I did have to use a heat gun to soften and work out the wrinkles from it being folded for packaging. I also tossed the cover in my dryer on high for about 30 mins to ensure it’d be a tight fit all around. I sanded the cracked vinyl on the original, cleaned the area with an alcohol wipe and used a strip of iron-on fabric tape (HeatnBond Ultra Hold) to smooth the area so it wouldn’t be felt through the new cover.I have a ~$30 pneumatic stapler but the staples were too long. Any standard size shorter than that was too short. I guess that’s from me having to pierce through double and even triple layers of vinyl. I used metal clippers to shorten the legs of the staples to the length I needed (all these little hurdles I brought upon myself, huh?!). One benefit to applying new over old is you can copy what’s already there in trimming the excess and where to staple.Once copied and secured in place, I was very impressed with the accuracy of the fit. It took some forethought in stretching and stapling, but the seams followed the edges just like the original cover.I did all the work in my living room, mostly in my lap so I could watch the SEC games. Just had to run the air hose in from the garage.I worked on it an hour or so here and there over a few days. Having to trim the staples was the most annoying speed bump. I stopped a LOT to watch games. Actual working time was probably 3-4 hours. All in, I’m very satisfied. The material appears and feels very comparable to the original. It just doesn’t have the foam backing, which is another reason for installing it over the original. For the end result, this cover is a good value. Aside from the staple trimming annoyance, I actually enjoyed the casual project and am glad I didn’t talk myself into accepting the off-color lid “just to be done with it”.
