I live in an area with extremely hard water so we go through lots of metal based sink drains. These are plastic so they don't have the same problem reacting with hard water. And, as a bonus, the center piece literally just pulls out so they are super simple to clean clogs. I've seriously never had one so simple to use like this.It was easy to replace my delta metal drains. These are all plastic, so when they are in need of a cleaning, just remember to be gentle. But otherwise, what a great product.I'm thrilled with my purchase.

When I renovated my bathroom I replaced the sunken sink with one that was mostly above the counter service, but I needed a train stopper. I chose not to go cheap and bought a very nice one. Paint chipped off, it was so low when popped up that the sink barely drained and then it finally just got stuck and wouldn't pop up or down anymore. Plus, there was no convenient way to clean out the drain from the crap we all know ends up down there.I read good reviews on this pop up drain. I was leery that it could be so inexpensive and really be so good. I stand corrected. It took me five times longer to man handle the old expensive drain out with a big wrench than it did to install this one. For this one I just put it all together in the correct order and hand tightened it and it works great. It's not loose, doesn't wiggle and feels solid. Some say it sits too high when popped up. I don't think so, but then, my last one sat way too low. Not only was installation fast and easy, but when done there were no leaks and no adjustments required. It pops up and down with ease and the icing on the cake is that if I want to clean the drain I just pull up and the unit just slides up out of the drain in one piece. No unscrewing. (My old one the top would screw off and I couldn't get the guts to unscrew out of the drain.) I clean it up and slide it back down into the drain. A sixty second job at most. When popped up it drains fast. When popped down it holds water as desired. What more could you ask?Yes, it's mostly plastic, but why would that be an issue? All the drain lines under your sink are PVC. the one part that is not plastic is the top piece which is definitely metal so it doesn't look or feel cheap. If I had any issues at all it would be that the manufacturer has their name engraved in the top where you see it every time you wash your hands. I try to avoid purchasing products with the manufactures name is gaudily plastered on them like some billboard. However it's not to obtrusive and you don't notice it after a while. I can live with it.I've learned not to go cheap when buying products, but have found, as in this case, more money does not necessarily mean higher quality. I'm tempted to purchase a second one of these just to have a spare, but it seems the odds of me needing a spare any time soon is negligible.This was a great buy of a quality item and I have absolutely no regrets.

I was struggling with my previous bathroom faucet drain assembly for a few months. I kept going under the sink to readjust the assembly. Nothing worked and it kept popping off. I decided to try this product. It works great!! The quality and look are amazing. Excellent price. Easy to install. !5 mins if that. Upgraded the overall look of my sink. I 100% recommend this product.

Original drain was flaking, so bought this pop drain to replace it. Looks great. No idea how this will hold up over time. Felt weird removing the original, and its all metal and solid parts, and throwing that into the trash lol. This new one is all flimsy plastic but it installed real easy, and it looks nice. Now I just pray to the chinese amazon gods that it lasts awhile!

My bath sink does not have an overflow so I had to leave the regular kind of pop up style stopper out or the sink drained very slowly.I tried some stand alone stoppers but they did not work well either . But this one was easy to install and somehow works great . It comes with a top washer so you don't need to use plumbers putty to seal the top . The bottom has a regular big beveled washer but instead of the normal smallish nut to tighten it has a big fist sized nut that does not require a tool to tighten . And the stopper seals with one push down and opens with the next push . Way better than the type of lav faucet with a rod on top which operates the stopper which are difficult to assemble and tend to come loose . What took so long to make a drain assembly like this ! They also make drains like this for sinks that do have an overflow hole .

Looked like a good product. Just the right features. Do-it-yourselfer easy to install. I’m happy that the lower MACK seal was a good rubber “donut” as many of the pop-up drains sold have a, unsuitable flimsy silicone seal that does not seal the lower portion of the drain. Arrived missing one of the two rubber seals, specifically the upper lip seal, as shown in the vendor’s pictures on the ad. Going to return the product for a replacement. My fear is that the replacement will also be missing a seal as the box was unopened, original packaging. Which means it was never put into the package from the manufacturer in China.

An amazing pop-up bathroom drain.Fantastic value for a reasonable price.100% durable and extremely tough plastic construction = zero rusting, zero corrosion.The top cover is a nice brushed stainless steel cap/cover.Very nice, quick and easy ... to remove the pop-up portion,as the pop-up ... just pulls straight up and out, (no more unscrewing)making cleaning this drain ... super quick and super easy.And this is a very fast drain when emptying the water.It's now the fastest drain in the house.Ours also had the over-flow sink port option.The installation also requires no tools, you can do everything by hand.Real solid sink to drain seal.The hardest part will be reaching under the sink .. so nice to install.
