Most states require you to have a whistle and a PFD within reach. I clipped this to my ONYX M-16 inflatable belt (which I always wear) and forget about it. I don't have to worry about it getting in the way of anything

The chord is great. But the whistle is not loud at all and is more of a shrieking sound.

my doctors recommended i put this on my service dog for if i fall so someone will know i am in trouble. i am very slowly getting my dog used to it as the whistle could be a little smaller . the sound is something he didn’t like so i am slowly work up to that. it is a great idea.

I keep this on my purse for walking to and from my car at work. It’s well made and I feel more secure having it. Happy to have something of good quality. It was easy to attach to my bag and I can easily move it to another bag or my keys if needed. Will be getting my daughter one as well!

I am a teacher and bought this to attach to my lanyard. This is a great whistle that is very loud. I like that the whistle is plastic and not metal because it doesn’t get hot when I’m outside during PE time. My husband is going to order one for the same reason! I love that it hooks onto anything and retracts so it’s not something else hanging around my neck.

I can say enough good things about these lanyards. With everything that’s going on in this world I need a little peace of mind with my kids walk home from school. I bought these so that my kids would be safer walk home from the school bus drop off. They attach to my kids backpack straps a readily available for them to use them if they feel threatened. The color stands out and very easy for them to find if the need to use it. I myself have them on all my backpacks from my school backpack to my hunting backpack. My wife carries hers on her purse and key ring. Key-Bak makes the best retractors from my experience. I use them at work, and play.

I have this whistle hooked up to my dog leash and it gives me a peace of mind when I walk in the early morning with my dog. It produces a high pitch sound, it is very well made, and it can strap to almost anything. The whistle has been dropped, stepped on, and dragged through muddy water. Aside from a few scratches, it still works like new. I have given one to my friend for the same purpose, would recommend this to anyone to use as a safety/emergency communication device.
