There are some pros and cons to this keyboard tray. It’s pretty easy to install and I love that it comes with the crossbar lowering pieces, which I did need to install this. The keyboard tray slides pretty easily (almost too much so) but lacks a locking mechanism to keep it out should you want to lock it in place. The adjustment of the angle is vast but height is very limited. The adjustments are also a little tough to do as even when loosening the knob it’s very tight (for now). I use 65% and 75% keyboards so my keyboard fit perfectly next to my mouse. It’s a great size for gaming keyboards but I could see it being tight for full-sized keyboards. I also love that it has the 360 rotation option so I can keep it out of my legroom area when using the desk to sit. Another issue I had with it is it holds onto oil like crazy so it’s always covered in fingerprints which REALLY bothers me! That all being said it is a decent value but does lack a lot of features that could make it great. For now I’d give it a 3.5 star as it’s just not quite where I’d want it but accomplishes the task it’s supposed to.

This keyboard tray is perfect for me and my standing desk. I have a dual monitor set up, so I need to offset my keyboard tray to the right so that I can place my keyboard all the way to the left to give room on the right side for my mouse. I previously had a keyboard tray that clamped onto my desk, but the height controls were set on the right side under the desk, so I could only place the tray in the center of the desk, which always made me feel I was off center. This tray has the "risers" which allowed me to mount it below the lowering/rising mechanism of my desk, which allowed me to offset the tray exactly where I want it. Also, the adjustability of the tray allows me to set my monitors at the correct height by raising and lowering the tray instead of my monitors.I don't know that this would be as useful for you if you have a fixed desk. The main advantage of this tray is the ability to lower it significantly below your desk surface, which is great for standing desks, but not much help for fixed desks. But, it would still work for you if you just wanted your keyboard extended out to clear desk space or slightly lower than your desk surface. Without the "risers" the tray would mount just below your desk, and when the tray is pulled out, you should be able to adjust it close to even with your desk at its highest adjustment.Installation was pretty easy. I did need to drill pilot holes in my desk for the screws that mount onto the desk.Overall, I'd say this tray is worth it if you have a standing desk.

This XL under desk keyboard tray with storage by PEGZONE is well made. This 25" x 11" keyboard tray like all center mount/pivot keyboard trays is best suited for sit to stand desks. It can definitely work with a standard desk but due to it's size it will limit your overall under desk movability especially if you're less than skinny. Speaking of movability I have a 16" keyboard and XL hands and found I had plenty of room for a full size mouse.I find this keyboard tray to be well made and sturdy. It's definitely one of the better options on the market. It's very heavy duty; made of steel and sturdy but of course the overall installation process will ultimately determine how sturdy it will be....I know manual labor isn't ideal but I coming from someone who's worked in home furnishing for 13yrs I wouldn't recommend using power tools to install this and if feasible I would install it with your desk flipped upside down.Using a power tool can and most likely prevent the screws from sitting tightly into the wood which in turn will cause it to become wobbly which will worsen over time as the screws become looser due to the weight of it. To ensure the screws sit snuggly install using a manual screwdriver especially if your desk isn't solid HARDWOOD.If manual installation isn't an option and you don't want to flip your desk to ensure accurate positioning a trick I use prior to reaching to screws it to use a little or a lot of double sided tape. It will help you center it with accuracy while ensure a long term hold while preventing it from ever becoming wobbly.Overall I find this desk tray to be well made. The rubber wrist rest is very comfortable and installation even without instructions is pretty straight forward for unlike most keyboard trays on the market this consist of just a few parts even fewer if you don't use the bar adapters for sit to stand desks. My only gripe which is more of an industry thing is the less than attract industry standard black vinyl which doesn't exactly complement higher end desks or desks with wood grain. If you can get past that aesthetic I would say this keyboard tray is definitely one to consider.

Pros:+ Inexpensive+ Includes adapters for sit/stand desks+ Pretty simple and easy to installCons:- Flimsy - it will rattle and creak. I wouldn't trust it with anything weighty at all, nor even rest my wrist weight on it.- Storage tray on side is mostly worthless. You will not be able to have the keyboard at lap height, which is the whole purpose, for me at least. I may end up ripping this out just to get that 1.5" space back for my knee.- Width is slightly too small - could use another 1.5"-2"I had elected to go with this keyboard tray as it came with the adapters for the beam in the middle of my sit/stand desk. Seeing as some of the adapters can go for $30 by themselves, I figured I'd get something where that was already taken into account. This is what I would say is the best feature of this keyboard tray. Instructions were just pictures, but it's fairly self-evident how to install the tray.If you have a full-size keyboard complete with number pad and function control keys, you will struggle to have enough room to include a mouse on the tray. Ideally, I would want another ~2 inches to be comfortable using the mouse without hassle.
