Your cart is empty.The K&N Drycharger is a silicone treated, polyester wrap that is made to cover K&N Air Filters or Personal Watercraft Flame Arrestors. These Drychargers, which are similar to the K&N Prechargers, contain uniform micron sized openings that allow high air flow. Yet, due to the Drychargers silicone treated polyester wrap, the amount of water that reaches the air filter or flame arrestor is limited.

I just installed both of these wraps on my Q50 and it was so easy to do. The quality look good and only time will tell how they last. My Q50 uses 2 filters and is why I installed 2 of them. No change in performance that I can detect. Living in the midwest and fall around the corner I figured these would help with leaves and other things this time of year. That and a little more protection from water getting into the intake.

Ordered this for my 2016 Chrysler 300s V6 K&N CAI filter. Ordered black and came in red. Wasn't worried about the color. Looked small but I tried to install anyway. It ripped about 4/5 the way on the filter at the elastic. It is now useless. Double check the size if you order this dry filter.

Vehicle: 2013 Chevrolet Cruze LS 1.8LK&N Filter: RE-0930This filter cover fit perfectly on this K&N air filter and I highly recommend it as it helps prevent dust and debris from penetrating through the air filter. The material feels really good as well, not cheap. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews, but if you’re not happy, you’ll know within the first few days, so just return it. No need to burn the product because it didn’t meet your standards or expectations. Again, it was perfect for my setup and I would recommend it to anyone wanting that extra security blanket of protection! Also, I noticed there was a lack of photos and vehicle details so I uploaded several. Now go buy it!

I bought the Drycharger for my 350z's Mishimoto intake after trouble with dirt and debris clogging it too quickly. I took dimensions on my filter and matched it with the filter wrap above. I removed my Mishimoto filter, simply tapped it on a clean flat surface to hopefully get the bugs and debris out a fair amount, and reintalled the filter with the Drycharger slid overtop.Pros: I received the product very quickly, no noticeable change in performance (could help improve depending on how much debris you get frequently clogging your filter, mine did), the filter stays clean now with the Drycharger blocking large debris, and installation was a breeze.Cons: None!After purchasing this Drycharger to help protect my filter and keep it clean, I will never run another clamp on filter without one!

This is a great addition to your cold air intake filter, in that it not only repels water but also helps keep your filter element clean. I bought this for my Subaru Forester's Grimmspeed CAI cone shaped filter which measures 5" top x 6" bottom x 5 3/4" length. It is a snug fit but it does wrap around the bottom about 1/2". I think the RX-4730DL might be a better fit but this one works for now. Good quality, as to be expected from K&N.

The main reason I purchased this filter wrap was to prevent large debris from entering the filter pleats. Since this product is specifically manufactured by K&N, I am guaranteed fit, performance, and longevity. The fit is perfect on my filter, not too loose or too tight. The material still allows airflow, but also acts as a "pre-filter" to aid in the cleanliness of the filter. Prior to installing and replacing with a new filter (part RU-4990) I had noticed large pieces of debris embedded in the pleats of the filter, making it difficult to clean. This wrap will prevent such issues and also provide moisture protection as well. Great price and product for protecting your investment.
