I was having a Kohler shower fixtures installed and for whatever reason, the piece Kohler had included in the set was too long. Thankfully I found this shorter piece on Amazon and it fits perfectly.

The length of this wall supply adapter is 2-7/8". Kohler in their infinite wisdom doesn't include this information anywhere in their marketing material. Probably because they want you to buy several adapters before you find the one you're looking for. Hope this helps someone.

This fit perfect ,for the Kohler wall 90. The photo isn’t clear, but the adapter is 1/2” MIP thread.

I am a long time builder & had to use this adapter with multiple Kohler shower fixtures in a recent high end project. 4 of the adapters have failed over time. The adapter is soft brass and has a very thin neck area near the hex end. It is almost impossible to tighten the adapter sufficiently to avoid a leak without twisting the end off or stressing it where it will fail later. Unfortunately there is no other option to use with the Kohler wall mount supply elbow. If possible tighten the adapter using a channel lock or similar behind the o-rings instead of using a large hex wrench.
