Thought this would work as well or better than a full length pickle fork. Nope! Broke on second strike.

For all kinds of stuff!! I bought them to separate the spindles from my control arms so I could install new coil springs on my 1979 Chevrolet Camaro, but they do a lot more too. They come in handy when they’re needed

I needed a new set, thoughtnid buy this one. For the price i wasnt expecting much in terms of quality, but boy was i mistaken. I had to use it on my old 2004 f250 when i redid the whole suspension, when i tell you this thing can take a beating and work flawlessly, i mean it! I was struggling with a joint that just wouldnt budge, i put it behind my 100 gallon compressor and air hammer on full blast but the joint still wouldnt seperate (origional joint from 2004, 18 years) so i put a 30lb sledge into it! Fender removed, fork in middle of joint, 220lb man swinging a 30lb sledge like a caged animal at the fork, 3 full fledged 100% power strokes into this thing, hitting it harder than a pornstar at casting interview! Finally broke the joint free... the best part... the metal on the fork was almost unphased, no deep scratches, no bending, absolutely perfect, tighter than my first girlfriend! Would recommend! The joint tool, not my first girlfriend! Shes nuts! Now go buy this set and expierence longer lasting expierences that if you took two blue boys before your nightly activities!

I ended up having to use my trusty bolt type ball joint separator since the ball joints were seized from Michigan rust. But these might work in other situations. I like the lightweight of the set and the carrying case. I hammered on the adaptor and it held up nicely.

Great for the price. Removed original tie rods on 93 f250. Tried brass hammer and pry bar 1st, nothing. Then pickle fork and hammer, nothing. Used air hammer adapter and pickle fork had to tap on with brass hammer. Worked great. My only issue was my fault, I didn’t tighten the keeping nut and so it stripped out. Still working as intended.
