This speedometer mount appears to be well constructed of metal with a nice finish. There are no instructions or mounting screws included. The speedo I’m using slips in easily, but not too loose. In the pictures, you can see in my case, the multi plug opening at the top is off center and I will need to further elongate the opening to get the plug and wire in straight. Another of the wires doesn’t have an access hole at all and one will need to be added. I plan to mark and drill two holes to allow the mounting screws coming out of the back of the speedo to protrude through the case to secure the speedo in the case.I feel like these issues are to be expected since there are location variations in speedo wiring, cables for GPS and mounting bolts and the speedo and case came from different vendors.A couple of drilled holes and a little die grinder work and the speedo should fit in and be ready to be wired up. Of course, if you don’t plan on drilling mounting holes to screw the gauge mount base to your dash/post/or column... you’ll need to figure out a clamp or other method to secure it you vehicle.I’m satisfied I’ll figure it out with little effort. I would buy it again and would recommend it for anyone with a little skill and the necessary tools.
