The Gas-a-Just is available as an OE monotube replacement and as an OE twin-tube performance upgrade. The KYB Gas-a-Just has two separate working chambers: An air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness & control, and a second high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston that provides a comfortable ride during normal driving and adds instant performance on demand.

Purchased two of these for the rear of my '89 Suburban 1500 4WD and the fit and function is perfect.Replaced a pair of Edelbrock IAS shocks, the drivers side rear was making noise and since Edelbrock stopped making shocks, the lifetime warranty I was promised, no longer exists. I was bummed and upset.I read the KYB reviews, pondered many other shock options and decided to pull the trigger on these as Amazon price was too good to pass up. Glad I did, these shocks provide a better ride than the Edelbrocks they replaced and cost about $140 less!! Ride is softer, not as harsh or stiff as the IAS shocks, truck no longer rides or sounds like a lumber wagon, exactly the ride I wanted. Street use only so no idea how these KYB shocks perform offroad but for the money, the best shock option available in my opinion. Very pleased with these KYB shocks.

fit the 84 K10 Silverado perfectly after a few washers were added to make up for the spacing .

Makes a world of difference in the ride of my 1990 Crown Victoria,original shocks were dead,floating over hills,now the car rides nice and tight with no floating,and a new feeling ride,you won't go wrong installing this product in your vehicle,i would install them in any vehicle i own!!!!
