Purchased this for my parents 2017 Nissan Maxima SL due to a rear knocking noise over rough roads or bumps. After researching, everything pointed to this being the fix for the issue. Pretty easy to install, took me about 30 minutes each side. When I tightened the top strut nut, I bottomed it out then gave it a 1/4 ish turn more. In the first two pictures, the original 97k mile bushing is on the left and the new KYB one is on the right. Sure enough this solved the annoying knocking sound from the rear suspension over bumps. My parents had gone to the dealer to have them look at it, I believe they changed the rear sway bar bushings and rear end links saying they were worn and caused the noise. Unfortunately they paid for the repairs and the issue was still not fixed. This is what fixed it.

Prescription for the shocks stated needed this kit, or do not have this hardware provided with it turns out yes the hardware is included. Like every other shock I have bought in the last 45 years. This kit was on necessary, and a waste of my money.
