I looked at different brands of candle sand for a while before stumbling upon this, and I'm happy with this option. It's a lot of sand for the price compared to other options out there, and does the job. I used it as a floating candle by filling up the vase with water, put about an inches worth of sand, put a wick in, and lit it. It's important to not get the wick wet as it won't light.

I have been wanting to try this wax! I have a small candle business and have been thinking about using this. I got this to try and see what the possibilities are, because I had a ton of visions for it. I’ll name some of the pros and cons…Pros: fun, easy to use , for large containers, would make a great candle making class wax, long burn time, easy to clean up.Cons: not great for small containers cause the wax melts across the top and sticks to the container, is unstable in the sense that if I make cool designs with it and then move it the design is wrecked.I will definitely be getting more colors and trying more experiments with this wax! It’s super fun.

Arrived as described in two bags and also comes with a bunch of wicks. Great to add on to the shelf for the day when I get bored and decide I want to build some candles but in the meantime I can't actually say I've tested it.

I am loving this concept-I can add my own candle fragrances in small amounts to this candle wax 'sand' based on whatever my mood is! So cool! I'm still learning candle making and this is a fun new avenue to explore. Seems like a good value for a large 8 lb. bag.

This is amazing, I was able to turn an unused metal urn into a beautiful candle. The sand in white and no aroma. Will be using essential oils for smell later on but right now enjoying the candle.Comes with two lathe bags of sand and wicks, wooden scoop. I used more than half of one bag for this metal urn/bowl.
