Acrylic - UV resistant with continuous operating temperature up to 80˚C and transmittance of 92% (application dependent). Acrylic spheres are available in clear, white, bronze or smoke.

Nice product, but it wasn’t exactly what we wanted after we looked at it installed. I paid $21.65 for the item and after returning they deducted a restocking fee and a shipping fee, I only received $12.98 back. Beware.

This globe was too large in circumference to fit my lamp. Unfortunately, I have to pay return shipping and there is a 30% restocking fee.

Found only with considerable searching, but the plastic replacement globe works great, fits fine, and is identical in appearance to the glass version, which does not seem to be available.

Replaced an old glass globe with this one. Looks like glass but will be much safer around many grandkids. Allows lots of light. Would buy again!
