I love Lamy and their products. This nib is great and I really enjoy it. The only complaint is that since the description is written as "Fine Nib Set" I assumed I was getting more than one nib. Other than that I love the product.

I purchased this to replace the medium nib that came with my Lamy Safari.The fine nib writes excellently! I was expecting some scratchiness but it writes just as smoothly as the medium nib. My handwriting is now far more legible at small sizes. I also experience less smudging and ink transfer (using Lamy ink) when I'm writing in a hurry on less absorbent paper.I will note that the nib didn't sit properly on the feed of my Safari; it was slightly too wide and I had to apply some gentle pressure in order to get it to fit. Doing this did not affect the alignment of the tines at all, thankfully.It is unfortunate that this nib is almost as expensive as an entirely new Lamy fountain pen. If you're looking to change sizes and don't mind having an extra pen I would probably recommend that you just purchase a second pen with your desired nib size.

This nib fit my Lamy Vista perfectly when I swapped out the original nib. I didn't have any problems taking the old one off, or putting this one on. It writes super smooth.

I bought a lamy safari fountain pen with a medium nib. I wanted a fine fountain pen but instead bought the fine nib to swap.To replace nib I used a piece of tape to pull off and remove the nib. Nib fits fountain pen perfectly. I had seen other reviews of the nib not fitting. I would guess they had a counterfeit lamy fountain pen. Fountain pen writes well, it's not as smooth as the original but nothing that I can't remove with a micro mesh pad.

So happy this "fine" nib worked so well. I had a "medium" nib on my Lamy Accent pen. It was writing too thick.I was kinda worried about removing the medium nib and putting the fine nib on but everything worked perfectly.So happy that I now have a fountain pen that I can use again.

I Googled Lamy nib replacement to find instructions, then sed the pen cap to help me remove the old nib, and just snapped on the new one. It works perfectly from the start. It arrived quickly from the seller. And for a few bucks, I have a pen that works like new.

I was a little worried that I could remove the silver Lamy Extra Fine Nib and replace it with this flat black Fine Nib. But to my surprise the old nib came off easy and the new one slid on with just my hand pressure. It works great, not as pretty as the silver, but functions beautifully, is flexible and durable. Thought I would require instructions, but no need really!

Awesome Nib.Slides on Lamy fountain pens very easily, if you have any trouble, use some scotch tape to pull of old nib, DONT USE PLIERS (youtube how to replace lamy lib by goulet pens for tips).Writes SO SMOOTH out of the box, nice around a western fine/medium.Though it is smooth, it is stiff, so it doesn't flex or bend which makes it PERFECT for NOTE TAKING especially in lectures or every day writing. It does not need you to be super careful how much pressure you put so it can handle more pressure from you and not be damaged which means it is hard to accidentally lay down too much ink when writing (Which is a big problem if writing fast with a flexible nib).Great nib
