I ordered this July 16 2024, for my hens who were transitioning from brooder to coop. It's now January 11 2025 and I still use it. Theres two down sides to this feeder. Both annoying. First the lid on the top doesn't snap or twist on. Merely sits over the handle via a slit in the top. Meaning water gets in and also my flock loves to take the lid off completely. Leaving the feed vulnerable to rain and moisture. Second issue, the container itself only twist onto the bottom red area were feed is dispensed. Which is fine until days later when you go to check and the chickens have managed to slightly untwist the bottom and upon moving it come apart spilling whatever feed is left. We clean the coop weekly and remove everything during. so we've learned to fix before handling. The feed last about 2-3 with a flock of 4 hens and 1 rooster. So if you have a bigger flock you'll want something bigger. I plan to upgrade just haven't yet since we've found ways to make this work. Good material. Size depends on your flock. Good temporary starter feeder. I've gotten my money's worth. Just put it where it can't get rained on.

Lid doesn’t snap on so chickens can knock it off. When filling with feed to top then try carry handle breaks off. Yup then you have a mess and wasted feed. Can’t hang from handle. Only okay thing is capacity and ease to fill. More than likely I’ll be buying a different one.

This is a great feeder- easily put together, easy to take apart and clean, and doesn't feel cheaply made. It's been sitting outdoors in the Florida heat/sun for quite some time now and hasn't shown any signs of wear either, which is also impressive.
