This is wonderful if you have difficulty opening jars. From less than an inch to a pickle jar lid, it works well. Hold with two hands to give a strong turn. It's invisible under our cabinet, and always accessible. I have used it frequently since it was installed last year by our agile son-in-law. (Our daughter thought is was a great idea so had him install one at their home too!)

The jar opener was pretty easy to install. I was able to open a jar on which other methods had failed. It’s a plus to be able to hold the jar with both hands.

I have pretty bad arthritis and carpal tunnel in one wrist. Smaller lids aren’t a problem but with large lids I just can’t manage a grip that doesn’t hurt. This item works like a charm. It took about three minutes to install under the cupboard (invisible while standing in the kitchen) and the largest lid I had opened with barely any effort. If you have hand and/or wrist problems, and opening jars is a task, then you will actually look forward to using this.

The same as some of the other reviewers, I broke a wrist. The result was it was impossible to open most screw caps. I look at so many variations of jar openers. This one seemed the simplest. We mounted it under a cabinet. It isn’t visible from the front and is easily accessible. The opener is solid, appears durable, and is a good value. The grip is substantial. Pickle and olive jars, sports drink bottles, and even wine bottles were what I had in mind for this product. Wide-mouth jars like peanut butter and mayo open with ease. Again, basically invisible until needed, this open takes nearly no space in your kitchen. I think I’m going to give them for Christmas present this year!Tip: make certain you install it in a space with enough clearance for the items you will be opening both from the bottom and the front.

I really didn't know what to expect having been disappointed in the last three purchases of jar openers for seniors with weak hands. The mounting process took some effort but wasn't difficult. Once mounted it grips the lid securely; allowing the use of both hands to turn the jar. It is the easiest to use cap/lid opener we have ever owned. A great value.

This product works! And as it is made of metal, it won't have broken plastic pins after a few years of use, like our Pampered chef one. Looking forward to lots of use and unlimited durability.

This jar opener is the best gadget I have ever used! It was easy to install and is super easy to use.It makes opening any size jar or bottle very easy. Everybody should have one!!!
