I bought 3 pairs for my son-in-law for their 3 different properties with various fireplaces. He loves them. They are sturdy, good looking and well made. Great value also.

Good gloves. My only complaint is the liner is loose making it somewhat difficult to insert fingers. Size seems spot on. Nice leather

I need to add a log to my wood-burning stove while it is burning strongly. With these comfortable gloves, I can put the wood in and position it in the flames without getting burned and dropping the wood onto the fire. The glove length is good for protecting my wrist and forearm. They are not indefinitely heat resistant, however. I picked up a metal andiron and held it briefly. I noticed my fingers getting hot and had to replace it in the fire or it would have burned my fingers.

You don’t realize how much gloves can help with fire-stoves and fireplaces. These are thick leather and long so it allows you to place logs where you want them. No splinters, no burn, easy to take on and off, and just simply well made. I love them!!!

I use these gloves when emptying or filling my woodstove. They work great. The stove is small and I typically need to put my hands in the firebox above hot coals for 10 seconds or so. In two months of daily use, I've had no issues with these gloves. I don't feel the heat. They appear well constructed and insulated. Great quality.

These gloves are perfect for adding wood to a fire in a fireplace or wood stove. I can have my entire hand immersed in the fire box and not feel a bit of heat. Just keep your dogs away from them, they are made of leather and they may think its a nice BBQ hide chew toy :-)

I bought two pairs thinking perhaps one was faulty. Nope! Can’t even pick up an ember that’s been on it’s way out for an hour without instantly feeling a dangerous amount of heat on my hand. I know you’ll feel warmth: it’s fire, duh. But these are terrible. And the rub is: you can’t really get a return because to know they don’t work usually means you got soot and ash on them, so they won’t take them back.
