Purchased one for my Canon 28-300 L lens and, after using my camera with the cover on the lens on several hikes, decided to buy one for my 400mm lens and one for my 2X converter. Protects the lens barrel and provides a sure grip.

Love the fit and how it functions. Wish it wasn't so prone to the material flaring out from front of the lens after constant use - use some double sided tape to hold it all together. Other than that it's awesome.

Well built product that the only thing that I see could be a problem is the edge of the coat on the hood is rolling up when I put my lens in my bag.

Does what expected. Best thing is the insulation it gives in the winter from the metal barrel of the lens and the protection from scratches. Two design flaws: the strip that covers the tripod foot ring comes off and leaves the sticky tape exposed (would not put that again); the hood cover tends to roll up when you put away the lens in a bag, and has some shape memory that prevents form fitting perfectly again. Overpriced too.

Great lens cover. Works well and fits the lens elegantly. Really makes handling the lens more comfortable, especially in the cold. I've resisted buying one of these for far too long because of the price. Can't imagine being without it now. The only reason this is less than five stars is the price.

Being a bird photographer, I knew a big white lens would scare my subjects of with any quick motions. I learned about the LensCoat brand, and it seemed like a fantastic idea. Not only does it not scare off the birds, but it also keeps my hands from getting stuck to the all metal construction of the Canon 400mm Prime. Although it is pricey, the camouflage is well worth the cost.

Much better quality than I expected. Expensive, yes, but the quality makes the price less of an issue. Once you have used this in the field, you won't worry about how much it cost anymore.Feels kind of springy, which gives the lens some grip and gives a little little bit of shock absorption when setting the lens down or putting it in my bag. Of course this is very welcomed in cold weather. I would definitely buy this again.

This is a must for white lenses. Not only it camouflages the lens,it is a very good protector too. This lens coat was lucky.I went to Tadoba with my lens wearing this coat, and saw 13 tigers in 9 safaris.

I'm floored how quick it was shipped. I got it next day even with basic shipping! Would definitely recommend this cover, takes the chill off using this lens in winter outdoors.

This thing is all I expected it to be. Nice fit, nice color. Probably overpriced but I wanted it. Don't plan to ever remove it from my lens. Buy with confidence if you want to hide the white lens when doing your nature shooting.
