They don't work. Wind one up and toss it in the air - the body spins instead of the propeller.

For their helicopter usage, these are so-so. Using them to turn gliders into fun-to-fly airplanes, much better. However, the back hook that attaches the rubber band opposite of the propeller, is a tad flimsy and cheap. The rubber band is mostly strips of rubber that you fashion into a band for various amounts of strength. The back hook is not meant to hold a whole lot of tension, so we've had a couple failures due to that. Other than that, this is a nice kit for hobby projects
