It's a one-way valve that seems to do what it is designed to do - enough said. Using it to prevent the automatic chlorinator from leaking back into my pool's heater. The slip collar design makes it very easy to install. Completely satisfied with the purchase.

If pipes seem too close together it can slide up or down on one far enough to clear the other and then slide back down on the other. Very heavy duty. Hard to believe it could ever fail. Super good compression seals.

I bought this check valve to put on my 2" septic pump outlet line. Overall this is a good product. The compression style fittings made it easy to install. The quality of materials used seam to be on par with other higher prices check valves. Keep sure to pay attention to the flow direction and the orientation of the valve for vertical and horizontal installations. It is clearly marked on the body of the valve and if you do not have it positioned correctly it will not only not work correctly but cause more problems. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.
