Great protection and keeps glare out coming from underneath my welding hood. Hard to out on and sometimes comes off slightly. With a cape on the back a good combo for glare and protection but does get warm inside after a while. Have to let air out to keep lens from fogging.

This inexpensive, flame resistant bib protects your neck from weld splatter and harmful flash. It attached firmly and easily to my Lincoln 3350 hood but I suspect it will fit the lip of any hood. Once installed it stays in place and is fairly lightweight, adding only a bit to the forward weighting of your hood that's' easy to control with an adjustment on the headgear. All of this for a very reasonable price, especially considering that it is a Lincoln accessory.

Bought this for a Lincoln welding hood. Fit as it should. I sometimes I wear hi-viz tshirts when I’m out working in my home shop. One afternoon after welding most of the morning I noticed my vision was wonky. Well I realized that the flash was reflecting off the hi-viz shirt and under the hood into my eyes. Ordered this that same evening. Slapped it on my hood the next time I was out welding and it does the job. I will be ordering another set one or two for my spare hoods. Only thing I might recommend is adding a little dab of super glue in the corners/end to help with the curled end of the clip material, it’s a tad too long for my current hood but that’s what you get when you buy a universal product. 100% will buy again.

Lincoln makes good stuff and it fits their welding helmet just as it should. Blocks unwanted light and a bit of smoke too, which is nice. It's universal enough so I would expect it to fit just about any brand as long as the plastic at the bottom isn't folded over and double thick or something. The rubber edging is just a c shaped piece that slides very tightly over the rim of the helmet and holds securely. Don't expect it to move anywhere, but if it does, I'll just put a little silicone caulking in the channel before installation and that will fix it. Sometimes Lincoln stuff can be overpriced (2x+) more than similar competitors, but in this case the pricing was pretty close so I went with the name brand for a little more and don't regret it.

Using this on an Optrel helmet. The rubber flange conforms to the shape easily and with a little work it goes over the different thicknesses of the rolled edge. It was about an inch too long but i just left the extra hang off by the helmet adjustment knobsReally happy with the neck protection and light reduction it adds
