This device is by far the easiest electronic device I have ever setup. I was weary at first of how the quality would be. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I received the order. This biometric lock is packed full of features, app, finger prints, key cards, pin numbers, remote unlocking, and keys. It also comes with the necessary specialty tools to cut holes in a door. Once I registered the device the customer service from Paul is nothing short of amazing. He offered assistance setting up the device. However, I did not need any help as this isn't my first rodeo with biometric devices. The Lock itself is very responsive to the key card finger print, pin input and keys turns smoothly. Deadbolt seems well built so that gives me piece of mind. The app is straightforward and seamless to use. I've only had it for about a month. So far this lock has exceeded my expectations. I absolutely recommend this lock to anyone looking to upgrade their deadbolt and get something with more freedom. This lock also works seamlessly with Goggle assistant. I've already had to unlock my door remotely and it performed like a champ. I would give this lock 10 stars if I could

I usually don’t write reviews but this product is an exception because it’s been exceptional!- The installation was easy. (how to videos were spot on).- The lock is sleek and esthetically pleasing.- The handle is sturdy, it does not sag, and lock body sits snug against the door. You can tell it was made with quality materials.- The biometric reader works even when my hands are dirty, and it is very quick to respond when I use this method of entry. Same goes with the RFID cards and app.- The gateway was straight forward and easy to set up. - The app has a user friendly interface and I use it often when away from the house to lock or unlock my door. I like being able to monitor whether the door is locked or unlocked when I’m away. Plus I can monitor the activity log of if/when the lock is used and who used it.- connectivity is strong- After about 1 month of use (heavy use) the battery life is still at 100%- Customer service is has been awesome. I haven’t needed it because the lock works, but a few weeks after purchase the owner reached out to make sure everything was working and ask if there was anything I need or anything they could improve upon. This is one of the only products I’ve bought where someone from the company has personally taken the time out of their day to make sure everything is working smoothly. That speaks volumes as to what kind of company they are. I am happy to report that there have been no issues and I am more than pleased with the product.All in all, it is an outstanding product that functions exactly as advertised, exceeding my expectations. I will be purchasing more products from them and hope they expand their line.Way to go Lock Star! 5 STARS!!

Pros: Easy installation, works as designed, fast software connectivity, easy to set up, looks great, reasonably priced.Cons: Requires 4 AA batteries (purchase separately).Summary: This is a great performing remote deadbolt. Be sure to follow directions carefully when installing. If you’re replacing an existing deadbolt, be sure that the latch opening in the door frame is deep enough and wide enough to accommodate the latch. The latch must be able to travel smoothly full length into the opening. If not, the lock will make a series of loud clicking noise as it tries to push the latch deeper into the opening. Using a narrow wood chisel or Dremel tool will make enlarging the latch opening easier. You may also have to cut a small section out of the frame to accommodate the fixed sensor, depending on the door frame trim.This package comes with everything you need to install the door lock including doorknob saw and wood boring tool to drill out the openings (in a new door), and even a Phillips screwdriver. If you’re replacing a deadbolt in an existing door, you won’t need any tools except the screw driver.The gateway device — a device that connects the lock to your WiFi and Bluetooth and to your smartphone — will need to be placed near the Lockstar lock. Mine is about 4 feet from the lock with no connection issues. With this setup you can control your door lock from anywhere using your smartphone. The lock can be accessed five different ways from outside: fingerprint, numeric passcode via keypad, keys, keyless sensor pads, and smartphone. Whenever I travel, my pet sitter comes in and takes care of my two cats. She has lost my regular door key twice. Now I can give her, her own numeric passcode to enter the house and not worry about lost keys, not to mention the security risk. The passcodes can be changed anytime as needed.Paired with a doorbell camera, the Lockstar lock is perfect for senior citizens or anyone with mobility issues. No need to get to the door. Simply unlock the door using a smartphone and telling the visitor (hopefully someone you know) through the doorbell camera to come on in.If you have a habit of forgetting to lock the door when you go out, no problem — the lock can be set to automatically lock your door as soon as it closes.The keypad is brightly lit when touching any key, making it easy to enter a passcode no matter how dark it is. Raining and no garage access? No problem. Simply unlock your door from inside your car using your smartphone.I am very pleased with the Lockstar lock. The only thing that would make it better would be for it to come with USB rechargeable batteries. However, the smartphone app has an indicator that tells you how much life your batteries have left so you can swap them out before they go completely dead. It would also be great if it came in different colors other than black, but not that important. What is important is safety and security and convenience, and the Lockstar lock has all that and more.Definitely worth 5 stars!
