Since I just bought this product which is intended to be used over a year, I can't comment on this one. However, we used the same product more than a year ago - same make and model, with good results. The lab was very professional and prompt in providing results. It is easy to use with good clear instructions.

Detector worked as presented in the description. Results were provided in a timely manner. Buyers should be aware that some States require that the seller submit the results to the State and include Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, County, Test Start Date, Test End Date, and Results.

We ordered this item last year and installed it for about 11 months. We followed every instruction to the letter and sent this back in the box we were supposed to. It has been well over a month now and there have been no results. This was an absolute waste of money and more importantly a waste of time. If you need a long term radon test; I recommend you look elsewhere.If by some chance results do come in; I will update this review and my rating.UPDATE 9-25-2020: We received an email and a phone call today from this company. They emailed us our results. It appears a prior email may have been blocked for some reason. I didn’t see it in our spam folder either so it’s hard to know what happened. Anyway, because they reached out and gave us our results I have updated our rating. The product did what it was supposed to, was a good value as far as costs went and the company MADE SURE we got the results. At this point I would recommended and we will use them again if we need another test in the future!

Test results came back 3x higher than what our initial tests were when the home was tested prior to purchasing. Initially for our homes inspection results were 2.8pcl. Since that time we installed a mitigation system. Tested just recently with this product, result measurement was 8.8pcl. Highly disconcerting. Ordering an electronic testor to validate the latest results. Shall revise this review after those results.Edit:Have been using an electronic radon measuring unit. Levels have been averaging under .3pcl. Which are what was expected. Don't waste your money on this unit, plus then the added costs of overnight shipment for receiving inaccurate results.

I have been doing radon testing for a few years and I was getting some slightly bad results. I cannot say at this time if this works good or not I will see after a year.

Price was good and fast shipping! Not having to pay for the lab is a plus!
