I can see where this would be awesome for a longboard if your doing some nice carves, I bought this for use on some elevated platforms though where I would be standing barefoot and it's great for that too. would recommend if you need some great traction and want to keep the skin on your feet.

If you are looking for a motorcycle tank grip, this CatTongue grips seem awesome: Grips leather and mesh, adhesive sticks real well (maybe too well, make sure you apply the grip right the first time), just needs a few minutes to cut it to fit (I drew and cut on paper first)...

Works great for custom motorcycle tank grips. Grips denim (kevlar lined of course) and leather without causing damage.

If you’re just cruising or carving a bowl without doing any flip tricks, this grip tape is fine. It feels a lot better to carry around, doesn’t tear up my hands or clothes. And it’s super nice that it’s water resistant. But it’s harder to trim than regular grip and it’s not grippy enough to do flip tricks. Ollies work out ok, not as high or stable as usual though, but not kickflips.

My son suggested I stick this grip tape to the seat of my rollator walker to keep me from sliding off when I sit in it. I have had it on the seat for months and it really grips and works way better than I expected. The edges have not peeled because the glue is so strong. I use my walker as my office chair and general use through the day, so it gets a lot of use. I also stuck some of the grip tape to the foot pedals on my exercise bike.

If you’ve ever put on skateboard grip tape before you know it’s a pretty simple process to apply it,scrape it and trim it. This stuff is very sticky and gummy, and even with a sharp blade it was hard to trim it along the deck to get a smooth line like you would with griptape. Took a lot of edge clean up but its not pretty.and then I assembled the board and watched the rubber pucker up around the boards. two of the screws pulled through the rubber. it looks so bad. and you can feel it under your feet.I've built dozens of skateboards, this griptape is just a major disappointment.

The adhesive works very well and makes installation easy enough.I used it to line a drawer, and nothing slides around.I don’t really ever plan on using it to grip a board since the material is basically a rubber. Making normal skate shoes hard to use.Large sheet for the cost

I ended up using this on a wooden ramp we set up for my dogs to walk on/off the porch. They kept slipping on the smooth wood. I cut the grip tape into strips and attached them in a series down the board. It was really easy to adhere the tape after cleaning and drying the wood. I removed a few inches of the clear backing, placed the adhesive side where I wanted to start the strip, and then pulled the rest of the backing off while I smoothed down the tape. It rained today and the tape seemed to stay in place. It was also still grippy when wet. I think this grip tape would work well for skateboards or other projects.
