I got this bear bell for my bestie's son, who's a bit scared of bear encounters since they do have bears in their area. It’s super easy to use, and the clip works well. For its small size, it’s pretty loud, which is great.It’s a good thing to have for peace of mind, but I wouldn’t rely on it as a life-saving tool. Overall, a simple, handy product!

This bear bell looks very cute, and the material seems super nice and shiny. It is very loud. I think it loud enough to surprise the bears and scare them away. I never ran into a situation that I need to use it, but it give me peace of mind when I carry it with me on a hiking trip.

The Heptour Loud Emergency Whistles with Keychain work great. They are loud (don't blow them indoors near another person or dog) and lightweight. I plan to take one of these whenever I hike. They also would work as an emergency tool in urban areas. Each comes attached to a keychain. Great deal for 2.

These whistles are nice, when you blow them they do make a loud whistle but it is not as loud as I expected it to be for a rescue whistle.
