I use Lucas products almost exclusively with my firearms. But I have also found their extreme duty oil perfect for things like door hinges and knife pivots because in addition to its lubrication qualities, it penetrates into small spaces. This bore cleaner is another great product from Lucas. It gets the grunge out of your guns.

Good cleaner and non-toxic. Takes a few times running it through to clean, but nice not to need ventilation.

The pros:-Cleans powder fouling pretty well-Doesnt stink (I used it inside and didn't get yelled at for stinking up the kitchen)Negatives:-Doesnt clean copper fouling as well as my usual ammonia based cleaner (Butch's Bore Shine). I cleaned my rifle with the Lucas cleaner and got the bore cleaned to where the patches were coming out clean. I ran a wet patch of Butch's, let it soak 5 or 10 minutes, then ran a dry patch and it came out bluish, indicating some copper fouling was still present.Overall, I do think this is a good cleaner. I have some M7 Pro copper cleaner that's not stinky, so using this for powder/lead and following with another non-smelly cleaner would work indoors.

I'm a fan of good old #9, but the wife can't stand the smell so switched to this and it cleans really well and no real odor. I would even call it pleasant.

I am an avid Lucas Oil user and firearms enthusiast so I decided to try a bottle of Lucas Bore Cleaner. The bottle was not sealed properly, only about 2/3rds full and smelled like some form or soft drink. So I contacted Lucas and my biggest issue is that they did not get back to me. I am concerned about using this product as it was not properly sealed and they have not gotten back to me.
