These work fine for catching leaves and such. But the holes are a little larger than you would find on the smaller filters, so they aren't the best at catching small debris and stool samples.

I thought these might work, so I tried them out. I installed them at the end of last summer into all of my gutter downspout drains. This year I noticed that all my gutters were overflowing when it rained. When I checked these screens, they were all completely clogged with pine needles and other assorted detritus from the trees near my home. I removed them all and now my gutters and downspouts flow properly. Without the screens in the way, the flowing rainwater washes most of the debris down the downspouts without intervention.

I have gutter guards, but chipmunks and I don’t know what else goes up and down the downspouts. I pushed these into the open bottom of the downspouts. I haven’t heard anymore traffic in the downspouts. The end had to be pushed together to close the opening on the bottom.

We bought these for our downspouts so that starlings would stop making nests inside and clogging them. It worked for stopping the starlings from burrowing down and building nests, but we had a lot of clogging issues at the source instead. The mesh does not allow much for debris to go down the spouts, so our gutters overflowed more than before.

Schnell geliefert. Gutes Material.Ich hatte extra diese engmaschige Ausführung gewählt, weil ich dachte dadurch das Fallrohr besser vor Schmutz zu schützen.Dem ist auch so. Allerdings sind nach kurzer Zeit alle Dachrinnen übergelaufen, weil die Siebe total verstopft waren.Habe alle erfolgreich gegen gröbere "Körbe" ersetzt.

Wont install till spring but they look like they will work fine. They are pretty flimsy so should install easy

Appeared well made and as shown. Easy to separate once you realise the outer one can be enlarged allowing the rest to drop out. Good price for 12 of them. Hopefully they will last.
