Not worth the headache. I'm sure it does what it says but you'll be stressing yourself out so much trying to install it. I'm stuck with one of them because I tried installing and had to cut it up but returning the other one

I replaced glass doors with this mesh door for my snake enclosure. So much easier to take on and off, and more air gets into the enclosure.Photo shows glass doors behind the mesh door. I can use both glass and mesh (as a place to hold the mesh door), or either.

Recommended by a friend who has a dog that likes to try and jump out the upstairs window when it’s open. I have a similar issue with my cat. This has been a game changer in the summer heat. Absolutely brilliant. Let’s the fresh air in with the flies etc coming in. My cat happily sits at the window taking in the air and sounds but without the worry that she will fall out of the top floor. Theyre sturdy and robust. A little bit fiddly to put together but once done it’s worth it. Have now bought enough of these for 4 windows.

I wanted to share because I purchased this, knowing that installation would be a challenge as I don't have a standard window. I have a studio apartment in NYC, and zero flat surface around the window to install it as designed. My window is super slim, lots of old paint (and some missing lol), and the only consistently flat edge was on the inside. I made the executive decision to give it ago and SUCCESS!By doing it this way I also avoided handles and locks. I did add a small piece to attach to the locks because tit wasn't completely flush and I am installing this to keep out the mosquitoes and there was a gap. It doubles as a handle now because the one piece I can't use are the corner pieces that you use to remove it.I installed it by myself, but full disclosure, I am super handy and rarely need help. It wouldn't hurt to have an extra pair of hands, if they're available.Highly recommend and I'm super excited to be able to sleep without the A/C tonight and not worry about getting eaten by mosquitoes. 😁

I recently purchased the Magnetic Fly Screen Window, and it has exceeded my expectations! The adjustable size fits perfectly on my window, and the installation process was straightforward and easy. The fiberglass mesh is sturdy and effectively keeps bugs, flies, and mosquitoes out while allowing fresh air to circulate. I've noticed that the fiberglass holes are a bit too big, allowing smaller insects to get through occasionally. Despite this minor flaw, the magnetic frame ensures a tight seal and is easy to remove for cleaning. highly recommend this product for anyone looking to keep their home insect-free while enjoying fresh air!

Installation took a bit of time (about 40 minutes) as I was trying to make sure it was really neat, but it was relatively straightforward, especially when following the video (although the English pronunciation in the video was questionable!). The finished product looks really neat, and blends into the window so you can hardly see it (I used white frame + grey mesh). I've had my window fully open in the middle of the night with the light on in my room, and still no bugs have come in! I live right next to water so there are a huge number of bugs in the area so being able to keep them out is a huge thing for me.I have previously used velcro-based bug screens but they always look very rough and end up ripping after a couple months of use. While this one is more expensive, I see no reason why it couldn't last for several years, it's high quality and the adhesive is very strong. Would definitely recommend!

I've just finished installing this product and felt the need to immediately review - I think the full frustration and rage will be best conveyed fresh, before my brain erases it like a etch-a-sketch to protect my now fragile sanity.Does this product absolutely need multiple people to install, yet is so fiddly you'll constantly get in each other's way? Yes.Are the strips easy to size and cut, and the instructions reasonably clear? Also yes.Do you need the strength of The Rock to snap the corner pieces into place? Yes. Or resort to heavy duty tools, like we did.Does it look neat, and blend in with the PVC window? Yes, very much so.Do you need an open area the size of Lithuania to construct it in? Yes. Perhaps even Spain! It is easy to open and close the window with it installed? Yes - just lift the corner flap and you have full access to the window handle. Will the stress of constructing this make you question a strong, 12-year relationship with your fellow victim- I mean, installer? Yes.Does it keep bugs out and let fresh air in? Yes. Not 2 minutes after install, a moth tried to join me. It was thoroughly vexed by my new mesh. Success! The takeaway? If you're in a bind (i.e. you have a daily-used room that is persistently the temperature of Mordor with a reoccuring wasp nest in the roofline above, and you're pretty fed up of either being dive bombed by Satan's favourite insect or sweating enough to fill an olympic size swimming pool), then it's probably worth the £30, the hours of work, and involuntary-twitch inducing stress. My advice is to pay a handyman to install it for you. Last thing any of us need is a bigger therapy bill.3 stars - May recommend to a desperate friend, but wouldn't help them construct it.

Dropped a star for the terrible Chinese English instructions, so...You get:* A roll of self adhesive magnetic strip. This is stuck to the window frame.* A roll of magnetic strip and a roll of white plastic channel. The magnetic strip attaches to the strip stuck to the frame and the channel clips over it with the netting in between.* Four corners to make it look pretty.* A couple of metal clips, function not entirely clear.* The netting. You will need:* A pair of sharp scissors, I used kitchen scissors - to cut the mag strips and plastic channel.* A stanley knife to trim the netting when fitted.* A pencil to mark where to cut, yes you can see the marks on the mag strip.Important:* The self adhesive mag strip is 11mm wide and the white plastic channel is 14mm wide. If, like me, you have upvc windows you are likely to find that you are tight for space on one side in the window recess. True for me and compounded by the installer using quadrant angle beading along the bottom edge of the window above the window cill. I JUST had enough space.Offer up the self adhesive mag strip and mark to cut and cut to length. You only get one shot with this stuff so only peel off a few inches of the backing paper and offer up and stick. Then progressively peel the backing paper and stick.Repeat for the magnetic channel strip. Easy this time because the mag strip you have stuck to the frame will hold it in place. I cut these less than the length of the height/width of the window opening, maybe 1cm, to make it easier to attach the corner pieces. Leave the mag strips attached to the window frame.Cut the netting approx to size, I left about two inches spare, 5cm, around all edges.Cut four lengths of the white plastic channel, about two inches, 5cm long. Offer up the netting to the window frame and use these lengths to hold it in place. I found it worked best by using these 'temporary clips' top and bottom, not on the sides. Attach at the top first, then the bottom (yes, a bit obvious).Cut the side pieces, again slightly shorter to allow for the corner pieces. Easy to attach, thumb pressure is all that is needed. Attaching the plastic channel will tighten up the netting a bit. More difficult if tight for space, I ended up using the back end (blunt) of the stanley knife to force the the channel on.Remove the top and bottom temporary fixings and repeat. Now you can use the stanley knife to trim the excess netting around the frame you have made.Attach the corner pieces - easier to slide on in one direction and then press into place for the other.Job done! Those metal clips - I just slipped them in between the magnetic strips half way up the window. TIP - peeled off the orange sellotape, it left a lot of the adhesive behind. That blue paintbrush cleaner is excellent at removing sticky labels and the like.Complaints:At £28 this is not cheap. There was enough mag strip and netting to do a 'standard' UK upvc window and the top light above. BUT you only get four corner pieces and I was left with enough netting to do another window after doing the top light. Please LuGaMo/amazon, provide more corner pieces in the package and supply additional rolls of mag strips and plastic channel (and corner pieces) as options at additional cost. I would do more windows in the house, but not at this price.
