This puller arrived well protected yet had one compromised thread prior to packaging. The ding in the thread makes the factory hardness suspect. Poor tempering directly impacts the ability of any tool and in this case, threads need strong connections while a flywheel is removed. I'll workshop heat treat (torch and oil quench) this tool before use, which isn't something I expected to do. Otherwise, the tool is reasonably well machined.
