Sturdy thick steel and good thread cutting 1/4” screws. Takes a couple minutes and steady pressure to get the thread cutting to start in the aluminum flywheel but once they are fully threaded in the puller works well to pop the flywheel loose. Cheaper than the Briggs brand puller and just as effective.

The thread of the bolts has a lot of burs at the tip making it difficult to thread the nuts. The nuts have to be forced on and off a few times to remove the burs. I initially thought the threads were mismatched.

Did not fit or work well at all. The bolt and nut didn't thread evenly at all and I'm certain I could have made a "force fit" and ended up stripping the threads. I ended up purchasing a more expensive unit locally as I was in a bind time wise that did the job. I guess you get what you pay for in the end. I would not recommend.

I needed to replace a flywheel key and first I purchased the STENS 750-191 knock down tool. It was too small for the shaft on my mower. Purchased this, which was $5 less than the Briggs and Stratton equivalent and it worked great.

this puller is not the right size, too small...be sure to measure the distance between the threaded holes on either side of the center of the fly wheel...and confirm with your supplier about the size before ordering...not worth the time or gas to return.

Took me a few moments to figure out how to use this, as there are no instructions (thread the nuts onto the screws first so you can tighten the nuts after installing the self-tapping screws, which pulls the flywheel up and off). Other than that, easy to use & popped the flywheel off in seconds.

Didn't work for my Toro 7.25 hp recycler 22in mower. The flywheel on my mower doesn't have threads to pull.

Before buying this puller, match the B&S part number to your engine. B&S manufactures flywheels in a variety of spacings and bolt sizes. There is no universal B&S flywheel puller. Match the part number or you could find yourself with your engine in pieces and waiting for an alternate puller. Also, this is not a part that your local parts provider will routinely stock. Three parts providers in my area said they could have it in 3-5 business days. It is simple to use and performs as promised but the puller sizing must match your B&S engine or it is useless.Using this puller is much better than heating up or beating on your flywheel to remove it.

Threading the self tapping screws was a bit of a challenge. One had to go slowly so ad to keep heay diwn. All in all, satisfactory, did the job.
