These types of wash/wax spray on are best used for spot cleaning. They do a good job for cleaning, shine, and protecting. The tradeoff is the cost vs traditional car wash and wax.

The Malco waterless car wash is a great product if you otherwise maintain the exterior of your car. It isn't something you should use if you've not changed it for a period of time, as you'll need a ton of it and the price is far too high for this to use as a full replacement for a standard wash. But as a stop gap solution for when you need to remove some dirt, bird poop, or smaller areas it works great. Come out of the office and spill your coffee on the door? This will get that area nice and clean until your next wash. Gone off-road and have a car covered in mud? This won't go very far.

Leaves a film which is hard to remove

Many years ago I used to wax my car by applying wax and buffing it out. I hated it because of how difficult it was to do but it made the car look really good so I suppose it was worth the effort. Nowadays we have these spray and buff products that seem to work just as well but are so much easier to apply.Instructions on the label pretty much say:Shake well. Use plenty of clean, soft microfiber towels. Apply to cool dry surface in the shade. Spray a light mist to a section of body panel. Using a clean microfiber towel, spread product to create a thin, uniform layer. Using a separate towel, remove any excess and buff to dry, high gloss shine. Repeat for the rest of the car.Followed the instructions and the end result was really nice. Smooth, glossy finish. Just hope it lasts a while but with how easy it is to apply, I wouldn't mind re-applying every few months. It's a little on the pricier side compared to other products I've used but hoping it will last much longer.
