This slicer does a great job of making clean, even cuts through homemade bread, which is a big win for me since my loaves tend to have a pretty serious crust. The hand-crank mechanism works smoothly, and the rotating blade makes slicing easier than trying to go at it with just a knife. I also like that it’s easy to clean; no complicated parts to deal with.That said, this thing is not small. If you have a big kitchen or a dedicated space for it, no problem, but if counter space is limited, you’ll probably be hauling it in and out of storage, which might get annoying. The suction cups do an okay job of keeping it steady, but if you’re dealing with a really dense loaf, you might have to hold it in place a bit.A tip for getting the best slices: cut your loaf in half first, then use the slicer on the flat, cut side. It makes guiding the bread through much easier. Overall, it’s a well-made, sturdy tool that does exactly what it’s supposed to. If you bake a lot and have the space & budget for it, it’s a great addition to the kitchen.

Easy to use and a use have for homemade bread. The blade is sharp and you can adjust settings to have the same thickness for every slice

This bread slicer is pretty hefty and solid. It attaches to the countertop with suction and stays put. Adjusting the width of each slice is easy and cranking/cutting is fairly seamless.I love the simple look of this bread slicer and appreciate how well it works. No more squished bread! This is very comparable to the very pricey name brand version and I would recommend this to anyone one a budget that still wants a nice, solid, classy bread slicer.

Very nice overall. I made a loaf right away to put it to the test and it works great and as expected. Very similar to the Zassenhaus Brotschneidemaschine, little bit lighter and smaller gauge but similar dimensions and function. The suction cups are not great at all - I may look into replacing them or adding a clamp of sorts like an older version of these. Function for cutting bread is great. 97.99USD at time of purchase and review and that is a big investment but good long term hopefully. We shall see if the company stands behind the product in the future if needed. I recommend this.

Can't WAIT to use this for my next loaf of homemade bread! Easy to use, sturdy design, and seems like it will make my life a LOT EASIER when slicing homemade bread that I make ALL WINTER long!
