This bread slicer is great for slicing homemade bread. It cuts cleanly and easily. I love the suction cups keeping it to the counter. It does not have any kind of real safety so only adults should use or be around this. You also have to physically unscrew the blade to wash it which is a pain.

I seldom write reviews, but this bread slicer is LIFE CHANGING! For decades I’ve made my own bread for the family and have used every type of gizmo and bread knife on the market. Several times I’ve flirted with buying a professional bread slicer like they use at Panera, because I pre slice my loaves and freeze them….slicing bread took too long and sometimes the slices were uneven, even with a quality bread slicing guide. I stumbled only this machine from a Reddit post and investigated. I placed an order, with low hopes that it would be as easy as it looked. It turned out WAAAAY easier - just a quick, effortless twist of the handle and I could adjust the width from zero to super wide. The only drawback is that my loaves are long and I use a cutting board to hold the loaf level until the loaf is short enough to rest on the board. Seriously,, this is making my life so much easier.

This bread slicer works wonderful. I like the little arm that holds the slices up as they come out. The others don't and the slices get hit by the crank. I had one of those. I use it to cut sourdough boules.

Wanted something that was easy to use, to cut uniform pieces of sourdough. It was super easy to use, I love that it suctions to the counter, and I was able to quickly cut my whole loaf.
