Labeled "for 3 and up.". It took me, an adult with good abilities, at least two hours to assemble. No three, or even six year old could do it. Further, it uses special small marbles which run very fast and consequently briefly through the various runs. It is beautiful to look at when completed , but not a lot of fun.Later addition: customer service is wonderful, and I believe more recent products have addressed at least some of my criticisms.

Product is great as it is. My four year old boy loves building runs. My three year old girl not as much. We build them together too. So good for that.The downside - and the reason for the 3 star rating - is that both the set and the marbles are smaller than normal size. So you cannot use all those marbles you have at home in the run (which was my plan) and you have no idea if another set fits with this one unless you buy from same company again.I want to expand our set because the kids enjoy it, but the other sets by the same company don't have any other new and interesting pieces. May try another company but have no idea if they will fit and may have return it.If the set and marbles were standard this wound get 5 stars.

The leaves are very sturdy easy to build and I absolutely love that you can build it the way you want you can also build 4 separate marble runs or connect them all into one.

This product is fine - the pieces are sturdy and fit together. But - the marbles and tube/opening size are smaller than other similar sets. I found a marble run at a thrift store and my son LOVED it. Bought this to add/expand the set. He was so excited to open the new pieces and connect them to the thrifted set. But, the old marbles won’t through the new set and the pieces won’t connect. What a disappointment. I would return except that my son is already building the new set. Now we’ll have two separate sets that just don’t fit together. Just very disappointing.

I purchased the marble run for my son as a Christmas gift. I used to love mine 30+ years ago so I figured he would enjoy something similar, and sure enough, he sure does. He's a little below the recommended age so it's something he requires a little help assembling, but that's perfectly okay -- we expected that.The only real caveat I've noticed is that although the set itself is great, his other marbles are just a little bit too large to fit through it and end up getting stuck. To be honest, I didn't realize marbles came in different sizes -- I figured they were all pretty standard, but they're clearly not. This, however, isn't a huge problem, as the ones included work just fine; we just separated them from the others in his collection to avoid the issue entirely.Overall, a great choice!

Got this for my 4yr old for Christmas and he loves it! Pieces are sturdy and he likes how there are multiple entry points. Comes with a lot marbles which are a bit small so supervision is required.Would definitely recommend!

My son has spent hours with this. He's able to build different structures with it (with some help, but it's pretty easy to get it in configurations that will run the marbles) and loves putting the marbles through it. Pieces fit together well and seems to be good quality and durable. Highly recommend.
