I bought this cover to use for my 2024 Honda Pilot, as the reviews seemed good for their other models. The product was boxed decently, but did not have much padding at all. Just a small pad on either end.Upon opening it, I could see several marks. Where I was not sure if it was used or just a little banged or scuffed from shipping. But what really put me off was all the white marks on it. I assume it’s from lubrication as it seemed like white great. I took photos to show.The install was ok, but it doesn’t compress much and scuffed up the sidewalls of my rear storage area. When I unrolled it to cover the back. I again saw more of these white grease marks across the cover. They do not wipe off easily and leave behind a mark.Additionally, the front flap that attaches to the rear seat headrests is bad. It was bent in the corners and doesn’t lay flat at all. The factory cover is retractable which makes a huge difference as it stays tight depending on the seats and how far forward/back they are set.This one is fixed and just flops and looks silly. As my kids are older and need the seats back farther. So it really looks poor. It should be retractable. Additionally it uses a metal bar which is in an open slot. So the bar can just pop out and scratch up your interior. Not good.I will likely be returning as I am just not satisfied with it.

Fit is perfect. Attachment to back seat headrest is secure and adjustable so you can move bench seats back or forward. I like the attachment better than OEM. The material is not as substantial as the OEM but it feels adequate and worth the purchase.

The cover features a smooth fabric with a waterproof feel on one side, while the other side is a white cotton-like material. I don't tie the cover to the back of the seat because I like to be able to quickly access the back from the 2nd row. When it's not tied up, the cover drapes all the way down and still covers everything. There is also an aluminum rod at the end but there’s nothing holding it in place except some friction. See picture. It comes out quite easily and can potentially hurt someone or scratch the car.Installation is relatively straightforward, but I encountered some alignment issues. Since it’s a spring-loaded bar, I had to push it against one side to ensure the cover was centered.The handle has a spring loaded cover; it's closed when not in use, but can be easily opened when pulling the cover.This is really just a cover; you cannot put much, if anything useful, on top of the cover without it bending or the cover coming out even more.In terms of coverage, it really cover the entire trunk area. The area that has the handle goes all the way up to the back door.
