It functions as a trowl. Its build well not frills or fancy handle. If you have a small job and dont want to spend 20 bucks this will work.

I purchased this to apply large format tile mortar, working toward finishing the tile floor in my bathroom. I sort of expected this low-cost option to bend under the pressure, or perhaps the handle to come detached from the metal surface, but it held up wonderfully. I was able to use this product for two days as I needed it, and then easily removed excess mortar to use next time. Again, pleasantly surprised at its durability. I'll likely look for more products from this producer. Thanks!

A small and mighty trowel for a very good price. Much better than other box store. 800 sqft later of concrete later and it still has a lot of life left!!!

Mainly used it to back butter 8x24 tiles and to scoop mortar out of the bucket. I found that this size was easier to use for those purposes.

It does the job, I used it and it works the metal doesn't look like the shiny stainless steel of expensive trowels
