  • Fishing Rod Holder: Each mesh storage rack has rings for 5 fishing rods. What’s more, the velcro rings are adjustable to fix the fishing rods.
  • 2 Methods of Use: 1--Put the fishing rods under the sundries organizer, so the quilts, children's toys, towels, tissue and other sundries can be placed on the net pocket. 2--Put the fishing rods on the mesh rack to fix the fishing rods more firmly.
  • Easy to Install & Remove: Compact and portable--4 snaps can be easily connected to the roof rails and providing a lot of organizational capabilities. The bag is soft and portable.
  • Space Saving: The ceiling cargo net pocket keeps your car from getting messy. The design can help to place many irregularly shaped objects.

We used this for a long road trip in a smaller suv/crossover, it did hold the poles but if we didn’t have a cover over the trunk it would have just snapped the poles because it is just not long enough to support the poles. Also, there wasn’t much room in the net we were only able to fit a pillow and two throw blankets up there and it didn’t help that hooks were catching on those items.

We use this in our jeep when we go camping. We store pillows or jackets in it to make more room.

I was a huge fan of this fishing rod holder. Some observations- having the net was key as it kept my kids from being distracted by the poles as they hung up. Make sure that your vehicle has 4 hand holders on the inside in order to use. I’m not really sure how this would work in a car, but it worked great in our 2017 Kia Sorento. Some tips when setting up, I had 2 poles to store and each one was 2 piece, so 4 rod pieces to store. One rod was a 6’6” and the other a 12’- I would store the thicker end of the rod towards the front of the car. For whatever reason, the balance seems to work better when the heavier end is towards the front of the vehicle. I too had 5 Velcro straps but only 4 elastic straps. Not really sure why that happened but it did make for a confusing setup initially. If you have multiple rods under 8 ft, you probably could store up to 4 in this storage rack if your car is long enough. Otherwise, you can store 2-3 rods that are 2 piecers (4-6 pieces total) with no issues. It was a bit difficult to remember not to use your hand holds in the car. If you do pull them, the Velcro straps that hold the storage rack up will pull apart. It would be nice if the straps that you use to hang up the rack had a bit more to hold on to. I found that I had to get creative as when I pulled the straps they overlapped each other but that meant some of the strap was hanging loose with nothing to connect to.Overall for the price I still had to give this rod holder 5 stars and I would definitely recommend.

I was a little leery of this but man is it awesome. I have a Sequoia and kids and gear. This works great to keep your rods out of the way. The loops keep the rods secured and when not fishing, it makes a good spot to throw gear from turkey, deer, etc. I highly recommend it if you need to keep things organized.
