2011 Scion xB lock/unlock function worked first try for both remotes. Each comes with a CR2016 battery pre-installed. I don't know if this remote or key will work with any other car models or years.Keys still need to be cut at a local Ace Hardware or Home Depot.I used my OEM key for insertions and new remote for the remote presses, then the whole process again for the second new remote.I used the following guide from a YouTube video comment. I did every action quickly back to back, 1 or 2 seconds max between each action.1. Start with driver door open2. Insert then remove key 2 times3. Close door then open door 2 times, leave door open4. Insert then remove key 1 time5. Close door then open door 2 times, leave door open6. Insert key and leave in, close door7. Turn key to ON (NOT START)8. Press both lock and unlock at the same time and hold for 1 second9. Press lock or unlockIn the photos on the left is the new key and remote, on the right is my OEM Scion xB key and remote. One of the photos show the internal remote case clip snapped a bit on opening for the first time, so this plastic quality is strictly worse than OEM. This new remote case buttons are almost flush and not sunk in a bit as on OEM. The two unlock button bumps are in the same spot as OEM but are smaller. This is the first day I've had them I don't know how long they will last compared to OEM. I don't have a scale, but each new key feels heavier than my OEM.Again, this is first day review, I'll come back in 6 months or a year if I still have the car and keys, or if they stop working before them.Seems like a GREAT value compared to a single uncut, unprogrammed OEM key which costs about 6 times as these two keys (current price for these two is $23.95 and and additional 5% off if you tick the box, while OEM is about $125).EDIT: Both blank keys cut copied from my OEM key for FREE at local Home Depot, Ace Hardware tried to charge 160$ each... Go to Home Depot.

These don’t work with 2013 Scion XB. We tried programming, no luck. Took it to a mechanic who told us they weren’t compatible.

Way cheaper than replacements from dealer but can’t program yourself.

I got lucky with these keys worked perfectly on my xB kind a hard to find somebody to actually cut it for you, but got lucky at Home Depot. They did it for me at no charge because I brought in the keys that normally doesn’t happen. Shout out to Home Depot for helping me out. Saved me at least $250 never go to the dealership they screw you every time

Needed to replace broken key wireless key fob for my Scion XB. Was able to program both with the instructions on their website. It took a while but I finally got it. Locksmith cut the keys and now I have a replacement and a spare.
