I keep looking for the perfect steampunk-style boot covers. These are pretty good.Unlike other boot covers which are more focused on covering your shoe, these cover your leg. I got the brown ones (steampunk, remember?) and they look pretty good with black shoes. That said, the pattern is a little slapped on (it's a white ribbon that runs the outside of the boot leg). I don't mind it, as it gives a bit of flair to the boot leg. Even better, this goes on over the intersection between your pants and the shoe, so it blends nicely without having to tuck your pants into it.

These shoe covers are a quick and easy way to upgrade any pair of shoes into knee high boots, for Halloween, Renaissance faires, LARPing, a low-effort or starter cosplay, or just everyday playing dress up. They're generously sized, meaning they'll fit pretty much anyone from a tween to a full grown adult, and they're easy off and on.The fabric looks and feels like an inexpensive sueded leather, with a nice little decorative detail along the outer leg, with an elastic stirrup under the foot to help hold the shoe cover in place. Over all, the general construction of the pair I got was pretty good, on par with what you'd get from everyone's favorite pop up Halloween costume retailer or a little better. I wore mine around a bit over a pair of snug-legged jeans and didn't get any crocking (dye rubbing off on my pants), and the shoe covers didn't show appreciable wear and tear.

This review is for the Costume Boot Cover for Men Women Medieval Renaissance Boot Covers Leg Covers for Halloween Cosplay Costume.These nice brown faux leather suede leg protectors can be worn with many renfair/cosplay/costume settings, can be worn over any shoes to make them look like boots, over leggings, for riding horses... and to make it clear the side with the white detailing goes on the outside of your leg, the plain side with the padded wear patch goes on the inside. These do not have as big a bell at the bottom, I have others with a bigger bell that actually cover the top half of my shoes. But I'm a small short woman and these are fine, if you are a big guy these may fall short for you.This is a nice thick material with good structure, good stitching, good design... They have buckles at the top and bottom to adjust and an elastic strap to go under the sole of you boot/shoe to hold them down. Happy to add these to my wardrobe.These are not currently available and I do not recall the price. I do recall thinking they were ok for it. I'll update my review later if they become available again.As always I only do honest reviews and will update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

These “boot” covers can transform your typical mens dress shoes into “old” pirate boots. They fit easily over the leg and easily buckle to your shoes. The color choice is a good option - we got brown. See the photos for the exact shade. Overall very pleased for enhancing a pirate costume!

My brother in law cannot wear boots for any real length of time. He needs to wear special shoes if he wants to walk any longer than 20 minutes. But, for certain events, boots definitely fit the look better than his medical shoes. These worked great at the Ren Faire, where he could wear his proper supportive shoes, while still fitting in with the costuming he wanted to do.

Fits anyone really. Looked great and easy to put on (with shoes already on). Has Velcro and buckle closures. Great

Really nice touch on my larp costume. I really like the white side design pattern. I wore these all weekend at a combat larp. I had to reinforce the interior velcro strip after but they didn't fail. I think this is pretty reasonable as I pushed them beyond any reasonable limits expected for the price.

These worked with my costume perfectly. Easy to put on, easy to wear, comfortable. Looks like faux suede. Would get again
