Just wore these at C2E2, a Comic-Con in Chicago and they totally rocked! I used to use a pair of knee high black equestrian riding boots that had no zipper, were knee-high, and after a day of convention walking were terribly sore and covered in sweat! Though these are not and will never be comfort shoes by any means, for the price they are adequate for the occasional convention, costume party, or Halloween. And I’m sure you can purchase some inserts to make them a bit more comfy. Good buy!

I’m beyond happy with this purchase. They fit perfectly. I wear a size 10, and bought the size 10-11, hoping they wouldn’t be too big, and they weren’t. I also have wide feet, but I don’t have a problem with these. They fit perfectly. Not too thin, and some wiggle room at the toe. Granted, the calf area is pretty ginormous, and I thought I had big calves. Of well, these will be sufficient. Definitely better than being too small or too tight.

The quality of these boots is unusually high for a "costume" accessory. The materials are excellent and fit was good. These can be passed on down for future use for sure.

Bought this for my husband for a Star Wars costume. Normally he wears 11-11.5 mens, bought a 12 and fits as expected. Decided to go with slightly larger size due to walking around all day and feet are known to swell. Worked just fine. Only thing we didn't like, which was why I gave it 4 stars, the calf area is alot more loose fitting then we would have preferred and there wasn't any way of tightening it up.

It was perfect for a school play. It was package in a way that caused a mean crease in the middle of the boot but I ironed it out the best I could. Otherwise it was good quality and will reuse again for future plays.
