Just a little backstory.I bought 2 of these wash lights for an athlete photoshoot to cast a green light into some fog, as a background. I also bought a pinspot light to test, before buying all that I needed. The spotlight proved accurate, with a deep, true green light. It was exactly what you would think an RGB led, only firing the green led would look like.Of course, this could have also been done with studio lights or strobes and gels, but with the amount of variety that can be made with leds, I thought it was worth a shot.Unfortunately, these Meikee wash lights were not as accurate. Red and Blue were exactly what you'd expect, but the green was really a pale green, closer to white with a green tint than true green. There's one review that shows a halloween displayed skeleton with the green closer to what I expected. Unfortunately, that is not even close to what I experienced. This also makes any other color that requires the green led, think cyan (blue-green) or yellow (red-green) inaccurate and hard to produce. So with this fault, these will be returned, and another purchase will need to be made.

Amazing product. Works great with my DJ set and easy to use.Only thing that would make it better would be to have a wireless one..

These lights are absolutely awesome, can change modes, colors all from your phone. You have to be close to change colors though so that’s it’s only flaw, (within Bluetooth range) you can set timers when to turn on and off and that works no matter where you are. Great product super bright! I put him in the chest of my skeleton!

Almost perfect for my garage but when I went to install it the screws they sent were too short to attach the bracket to hang on the wall. Now it’s just sadly dangling in my garage :(

I was really surprised by this thing. I intended it to be used as a wall wash for YouTube videos, but it turns out it's bright enough to use as a key light. The adjustable color functionality makes it all the better.I was originally surprised at how small it is only 16" long. But it packs a lot of light into that. The housing is aluminum, and at full brightness it gets fairly warm. It comes with two rather flimsy wall mounting brackets and mounting hardware that would allow you to mount it to a surface and angle it as desired. I would not expect them to last if they were being moved around a lot, but for a "set it and forget it" application it would work fine.I did try to take some pictures of the light with it turned on, but it is so blindingly bright that it overwhelms my camera. It's too bright to look at directly when at full brightness. The real news is the app, which connects to one or more of these lights via Bluetooth. It is easy to use, and has quite a few functions. In color mode, you can select between warm or cool white, or any of a rainbow of colors, in any brightness level. CCT mode allows more granular choice between warm and cool white colors, again in any color. For both of these modes, favorite colors can be memorized and saved for later use. When the app is shut down, the light stays at that color - in fact, if you unplug the light, then plug it back in, it returns to the last-used color automatically."Functions" mode lets you have it gradually fade between any number of colors, at a speed you desire. You can choose from their defaults (all colors, red to green, etc) or create your own."Mic" mode purportedly flashes the light in different colors to the beat of the music heard by the microphone of your phone. However, I found it pretty useless - the light does not change color rapidly, only fades slowly from color to color, which means it can't show the "beat" of the music, and always seems to be behind the music. "Music" mode does the same thing, only it plays a song directly from your phone, instead of using the microphone. The coolest feature I think is "Camera" - you can point your phone at anything, press the button, and whatever color the camera is looking at will be instantly represented by the light. The app seems solid, and the light has performed well in all the time I have used it. I wish it had metal mounting brackets instead of the thin plastic ones, but other than that, it seems like a quality product.

This was easy to set up out of the box. We set it on the counter to test it out, as we intend to set on a table to pulse lighting up a wall. It's built solidly and all the lights inside work great. We played different songs and it seems to follow the bassline, but we were able to play around with it and get it to pulse with other parts of the music. Very fun little light bar and will be great for small parties and events. Easy set up, easy to figure out, easy to use.Great light for the price and an easy way to spice up a party, event, or game night. Excellent value.
